i agree, the shorts could pose a distraction, but the descision is up to the students

I think a school dress code is dumb. It really does not distract students, no matter how much the teachers think it does. The length of a person's shorts should be up to them.

I think there shouldnt be a dress code, but if the students are coming to school with undergarments showing they should be sent to the office

i do not think it is that distracting to have short shorts on. i think it should be allowed, once again it is their choice

length of shorts is a good and bad thing. its good because no one wants to see someone butt hanging from their pants. but its also bad because they are to strict on some pants.

i dont think that the length of shorts distracts students from learning what so ever.

i think the school dress code is dumb i hate it..

I agree with this rule because shorts that are WAY too short can cause a distraction to students.

i hate this rule. im not gonna go around with my butt hanging out of my shorts, but really, 4 inches above the knee or whatever? WERE IN HIGH SCHOOL. if you really think thats stopping students from doing "bad things" then you need to think twice. the length of shorts doesnt mean anything, its just a pain in the butt.

I dont think it matters whats someone wears. Everyone should be able to wear whatever they want unless it is really bad.

i believe in the school dress code. however, i think that they should relax it a little. its veryyyy hard to find shorts that go to your knees but SHORT-SHORTS should be banned.

I think the dress code is stupid. students should be able to wear what they want to.

I think our schools dress code should allow shorts to be a little shorter, because it is really hard to find a pair long enough to pass.

I do think that short shorts should be banned. I don't see the point of most of the rest of the dress code though.

Honestly, I don't care either way on this subject, but I do believe its sort of a good thing dress codes are around, but also I dislike them...so I don't really know what to say here...

short shorts should most definitly be allowed at schools. i love to wear them and feel the breeze on my legs.

i think that the rule of the length of the shorts should be relaxed a little because it hard to find shorts that you like and meets the requirements

I highly disagree with the dress code. Longer shorts are hard to find in stores for girls with longer legs, such as myself. I feel that the shorts rule should remain the same as it did in the previous years of Bullard.

I think this part of the dress code makes no sense. The school didn't have this rule last year and everything was fine

i think the dress code sucks

i understand that some students may be distracted by the lengths of girls shorts if they are too short, but if a girl is wearing shorts that are short enough for that to be possible, then it's probably what they are looking for and if thats true they will find other ways to get what they want. So why punish the students that are behaving
